ok this happened to me when playing Rayman Raving Rabbids 1. First, check if the game is 480p compatible, if not it will revert your settings every time you boot it up. It may just be that the game does not support 480p. try to get another game (borrow,buy,steal) and check if it is only that one game that is causing the porblem.
