Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition troubles

I've had a PS3 controller driver that even enabled dual shock vibration. My 360 controllers are wireless. I just need my PS2 controllers to work, and I'll be fine.  I'll use the controllers I have avaliable.  I just need to know why the game wont recognise them.
