Indeed. The fact that it's one of this generation's best games (imo of course 
), doesn't hurt either.
Just like when Bioshock or Mass Effect 2 were announced for PS3, people (in this case Nintendo fans) are now excited to play an incredible game on their console, despite the fact that the game has been out on other sytems.
Heck, I've already played and beaten the game on the 360 (One sit-through, 13 hours straight... 
), yet I for one will buy Armored Edition day 1 with my Wii U. Yep, the game is that good.
