With any system to play 4 player games would require 4 controllers. Last I checked they all cost $60 for wireless versions and for the price of their system you only get one which means you have to buy 3. So here they are all equal.
WiiFit can be compared to Guitar Hero/Rock Band/DDR. You want the game you need the guitar/board. So this can also be thrown out.
SSBB can be played with any controller combination you can think of. The hasn't released yet so who knows if the GC controller is the best option. Again, if it is so much better than playing with the wiimote/nunchuk, then it is also just like GH. Basically a mute point.
The only real extras that are basically needed for full Wii enjoyment is 2 extra classic controllers. $40. wow. Nintendo is robbing me. /sarcasm
