I don't like quick time events at all. They don't make me feel like part of the action. Instead they just ruin cut scenes. In my opinion quick time events should go the way of the dodo bird. And "games" like Heavy Rain and Beyond shouldn't be called games at all. They are interactive movies. I'm currently playing though the last three Tomb Raider games, and loving them, but the one thing I wish they didn't have is quick time events. The original Tomb Raider on Sega Saturn is a timeless classic and it didn't need quick time events to be fun so why do the new ones need it? The answer is that they don't.
