I made it pretty clear, I was reading some text on screen and during it people joined my game and completed my quests, leaving me nothing to do.  Garbage design allowing someone to join your game and do that.

Have you thought of trying offline to get the hang of it? That's what I did, and I was fine after about 15 minutes of single-player...
