FFVIII
Nothing makes sense, not the story, not the gameplay, nothing. Even worse, the new mechanics that doesn't make sense only makes the gameplay more unnessecarily convoluted and lame, so the things that were introduced that doesn't make sense cannot be justified by the gameplay either.
I suspect many people who like this game only do so because of the psychological effects of it being a sequel to FFVII. Everything about it is broken.
