Wow Xbox 360 is dying on the beach...

without price cut Console is dead, Microsoft will have a bad surprise this holidays.

Not dead, just a much more holiday centered console than years before.

Yeah, the Wii is.

@Andres- I'm having a look right now at the exact costs of importing a product of the PS4's specs with an RRP of £300, but it may take a while. I'll get back to you on it, but you're still dramatically underestimating costs IMO.

The Wii is...? Dead? Or not dead?

Pezus-

Not dead, just a much more holiday centered console than years before.

Me-

Yeah, the Wii is

Overall-

The Wii is not dead, just a much more holiday centered console than years before.

The Wii is going to essentially be the PS2 of previous years...It's going to be for gift buyers on a budget during the holiday times. I don't think the Wii is going to do amazing, but it's going to draw people in because it's cheap and already has an expansive library (which the WiiU won't necessarily have until at least the beginning of next year).

Hey, if the Wii could pull a PS2, then I think people would be insanely happy.

I agree, though. A $99 Wii could easily entice people who'd like a Wii but only want a couple games (like the Operation Rainfall games, or the Galaxy games). With DQX, provided there's no subscription charges (which is likely after MHTri), a $99 bundle could fly off the shelves IMO.

It's if Nintendo support it, which I doubt. But, there's big games coming for the DS, and a couple for the Wii, so who's to say it can't sell? I see another 15mil in sales for the Wii, at least.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.
