Yeah, that's what I thought. Then it's best to go back and do any timed quests, because they expire now. Namely in Alcamoth and the Mechonis.

Unless you don't mind, then by all means go forward and kill teh beast

I only have a couple of timed quests if my memory serves me correctly, so I might as well do them.

I'm pretty sure that I'll start finishing quests later and then get impatient.  :p 

It's the same thing which happened with me. I went back thinking 'ah, well there's only a couple left', but then they unlocked another one, and another one, and another one...

Eventually I think I did them all, but I'm still 5 quests short in Alcamoth. I think they're standard Monster quests, or something, but I just wanted to see what happened to the characters in the story, knowing they'd be plenty of other quests afterwards anyway!
