The specs and such only leaked like a week or so before the E3 presentation. They definitely didn't reveal it due to 'leaks'. They just wanted to be the first one to come out with a system. Which was a stupid move by them, they should have kept supporting the wii and come out this year's E3 with all the info. Would have had a much bigger impact |
No and no.
We have the same thread like a year ago about being secretive and not releasing details about software, online and hardware features and capabilities even to shareholders, asking them to wait, just like third parties approach and partnerships.
And the "leaks"I'm reffering are not about the unreleased specs you are talking about, but some details like the touchscreen even before the Annual Meeting in April when they have to announce the console officially. Nintendo STREAM (from console to screen on controller) name by fans was way before the week before E3 last year.
