Yes, they can, however I wouldn't bet on it unless at least (1) comes bundled, which is unlikely since it probably has to bundle with a tablet controller, wiimote and nunchuck.

I was thinking more of a case of will Nintendo allow it. The tablet controller won't be necessary for all games so I would hope Nintendo would give developers free reign to makes games that don't require it and with the extra power available really make the Wii U shine.

COD BLOPS 2 won't need the tablet unless Treyarch add's some gimmicky feature. Could be the best console version of BLOPS 2 so in DF Face Offs or LOT H2H, Wii U tech could get some positive publicity amongst the tech/fanboy crowd.

I'm calling it now, in BLOPS2 WiiU when you use the predator missile styled weapon it will use the controller screen and it's built in motion controls.
