It will be lucky to push out 140 million in the states though. Other big movies are on their way, and like I said this movie it sci fi and rated R. That does not always mean it will go down fast, but it does not help. John Carter is also still at my local theater. If it continues to do well there they will leave it be, which annoys me because I am waiting for the next movie to come in there. Journey is still there as well. I am happy that John Carter is still there, it deserved more. Journey 2 did fine for what it was. |
Journey 2 is actually one of this years suprise hits especially since its only a mediocre movie at best. Prometethus still will have no prolem turning a profit from the box office alone since its overseas numbers are good it already made close to a $100 million abroad.
