Discount theater will push The Hunger games until the week of its Dvd release. That is usually what my locale dollar theater does. Sometimes movies sit there for over a month!

I knew prometheus was going to fall Saturday to Sunday. Rated R and its Sci fi. Animation does much better on those days. I want to know how Prometheus got Way with such a smallish budget?

A lot of movies co exist in discount theaters while already being available on Blu-Ray/DVD for a couple of weeks.  My local discount theater still plays John Carter and Journey 2: The Mysterious Island even though they both are available on Blu-Ray/DVD.  Also I wouldn't call Prometheus's budget smallish (some movies this year went budget crazy).  Anything over $100 million is generally considered big budget.
