Yes, it is what I want to say, faces, only faces can't be used to make these comparisons, you need to see everything, particles, lightning, number of polygons, physics, etc... it makes both engines impossible in current concoles.

How? Please explain how those things make both engines impossible on current gen consoies.

LOL, first only the real time lightning as shown in both engines are not possible in current consoles, if it were like you are saying, then MGS4 can run on PS2 without any downgrade.
