Why the hype for Killzone 2? It's not like the first game was state of the art or anything... Gamespot: 6.9 IGN: 7.5 Sure the graphics look good but it is rare that a game improves hugely from number one to number two. MGS improved slightly (hard to improve on MGS1) but often number two is worse than number one (Red Alert, Devil May Cry, Soul Calibur) So why all of the hype? Resistance was an 8.6 and 9.1, and a solid formula for a game. R2 is looking to improve on all of these. Why are so many people saying KZ2 is going to 'blow away all competition' and be a 'Halo-killer'? |
For the record, I did end up enjoying Killzone 2 a great deal, and I didn't like Resistance 2 at all.
