Hardware means jack squat if your content is sub par. Look at their like up: 5 mario games, 2 "core" ports, NintendoLand. Pikmin 3 and Scribblenauts being the most appealing of games, but already have an installed base. ZombiU has potential to be big but we'll see. Now that's just what I saw in the conference, there maybe more games on floor i'm not aware about. I'll give you this, Nintendo has balls of steel to put a U at the end of new mario game and called it new. I'd give them props for the multiverse integration but demon/dark souls already did it.

Yeh, they're one step ahead of the HD Twins and they're ready to bank of our current novelty of tablets. Then again, Microsoft has SmartGlass and Sony was cross play and junk with Vita, which I am fully aware it is not the same as the Wii U tablet but it's in the same ball park.

I see what Nintendo is doing and it's certainly commendable but innovation doesn't always work. Look at CoD. Up until Black Ops II, it has been the same shit over and over and has broken record after record. Innovation doesn't guarantee winning, it guarantees gullible parents build their kids an expensive console with a mediocre line-up.

What I dislike most about Nintendo is they always play it safe. Mario, Zelda, Mario, Metroid, Mario, Mario, Star Fox, Mario. Yes, maybe its what the gamers want but I personally can't stand that state of redundancy. I want to take this time and personally thank all of the good people here in VGChartz who helped in Operation Rainfall which to my knowledge, was the main reason Xenoblade and The Last Story made it to NA. I am having the time of my gaming life with Xenoblade and quite possibly the best games on the Wii right now.

To wrap up, they maybe ahead of the game in "innovation" and showing this so called "leadership" but their appearance in E3 in was underwhelming and it made the Wii U look shady. There was no reason for the content of their "revolutionary console" to be a bunch of mario games, ports and minigames.
