That's what they said in origin, you know why: because as the modern technology it has to be a console that costs more than 1500$ because of the 1tb of cpu of the modern consoles, probably 2 or 3 on the WiiU considering IBM of now, it requires 10tb of cpu, they are running it only with like 1 supercomputer they have done for this.

He's probably trying to say you need a CPU with some 10 teraflops to run UE4 properly right now, which is way beyond what we currently have even with top of the line Power PC architecture.

The 10 teraflops part is likely an overstatement, but the core of it is probably true, since Epic predicted console power to be way beyond what is currently presumed some years ago, and that's why they are desperately lobbying right now for MS and Sony to deliver in raw power, otherwise companies will keep using their current engines, only updated, instead of licensing their shiny but as of today unecessary UE4.

That's what i meant, since they pratically said the same some months ago.

So a PC like that here costs 1500€ so consoles will be there if not higher, and with i intend now.

I think we will have to wait like 4 years before a decent 400€/$ (since here they don't do correct money stuff XD) sooo i think this will be possible in the 10th generation of Home Consoles.
