Will the Wii U controller be for hardcore gamers?

If you are a so called "hardcore gamer" it doesnt matter what control scheme a console throws at you. You should be skilled enough to adapt to it....dual analogue, d-pad,tablet,joystick,Wiimote,mouse and keyboard.Im equally skilled on all of them. (im a dab hand with a lightgun as well)
