"Fuck no! The Wii U controller is clearly aimed at the everyday average gamer, not loser hardcore-gamers.
If Nintendo wanted to appeal to hardcore gamers, they would
A. Need to make a controller that involved 0 movement - hardcore gamers become tired very easily due to health problems.
B. Appeal to people who generally don't like light, so games with lots of greys and browns - hardcore gamers generally live in their mother's basement (I specified mother, because there's no way someone with a true father figure in their childhood would identify as a "hardcore gamer").
C. Appeal to people who don't have any form of family or females in their lives, so games with lots of polygonal boobs, shooting, and that sort of thing - hardcore gamers are usually angry virgins, there is no woman in their lives besides their mother, and they're probably not on speaking terms; also as a result of this, hardcore gamers usually have a sickly depraved image of women that often is tied to hostility.
Hardcore gamers are the opposite of Nintendo; and generally hate Nintendo because Nintendo betrayed them with the Wii, even though they were never Nintendo fans to begin with."
