Actually they did, the idea of streaming content from a console device to another machine, was done with the PSP years ago. and the Vita does it now (with a few games) The only thing Ninty is doing is taking that concept and putting it in a "tablet" and addng a bunch more functionality. According to research, sony was developing the duelshock controller years before the SUPER NINTENDO ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM hit the market. Okay, let me get back on track here. The Wii U controller will be fine for hardcore gamers, it will be great for some genres and not so great in others. No controller is perfect though, not even the Duel shock.
