Will the Wii U controller be for hardcore gamers?

According to research, sony was developing the duelshock controller years before the SUPER NINTENDO ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM hit the market. Okay, let me get back on track here. The Wii U controller will be fine for hardcore gamers, it will be great for some genres and not so great in others. No controller is perfect though, not even the Duel shock.
