Next-gen is just way overdue. If the PS4 can play PS3 games, then I'd definitely buy it Day 1.

I agree with you on that. Next-Gen should've happened at least 5 Months ago.

And this is why the whole 10-year gen thing never made any sense, because people get bored of old tech after 5.

Nintendo have played this best; get out a new console after 6 years to create a healthy lead, garner 3rd party support and leave the opposition having to catch up, just like with the 3DS. It doesn't need to be more technically advanced were there to be games and for it to be cheaper than the competition, after all.

They're just 6-8 months late. It should be out today.
