it shows how great he technology is improving over the years which is good for every gamer who wants to play games with gestures. they even say the work together with many partners of the consumer electronic branch and they expect to use their technology for phones, laptops AND gaming systems. and they have a patent on their own so who exactly says that microsoft has the patents they need? there is not even a camera in this thing nor an infrarot sensor. it seems to have a totally different technology, the only thing which is the same is that you can use gestures to change something on a screen. but since you are posting i maybe shouldn't wonder (you know what i mean if it comes to microsoft)
it's like you would say microsoft has to pay money to sony for kinect because of eyetoy where you can use gestures to change something on a screen as well.
