However, in 20 years ANH will be redone in holographic 3D with updated visuals (as will the other 5 SW movies). SW is THE best IP in movie history. It has its flaws, but overall the movies are brilliant and the best fictional universe there is. TDK is popular now due to many of you being at the age when you saw it where it impacted you greatly. Its a very good movie, but SW is simply better. TDK has joker.... thats it. no one talks about batman in that movie or two face. Its all about Joker. That may be true,but more popular doesn't mean better.
The best movies ever are either underrated or unknown by many.
Batman Begins is one of the best comic-book movies ever,and it did not have Joker.Nolan's vision of Batman is one of the best things that have ever happened to this industry,and it's still happening.It's the present,unlike some 30 years old movie that has been seriously overrated in the past decades.
TDK redefined the comic-book genre..it raised the bar heavily,so don't talk about it like it's some ordinary movie that did good just because of one character.
Last time I checked TDK had a better IMDB rating with almost 670.000 votes ( over 200.000 more than A New Hope )
