May I ask you which great games I am dismissing to make the list work?

Certainly

Punch-Out!! -- Metacritic: 86, GameRankings: 87.66%

Wii Sports Resort -- Metacritic: 80, GameRankings: 83.00%, sales over the moon; compare to Wii Sports -- MC: 76, GR: 76.22%

Wii Fit Plus -- Metacritic: 80, GameRankings: 80.83%, sales through the roof; compare to Wii Fit -- MC: 80, GR: 81.20%

Endless Ocean 2 -- Metacritic: 76, GameRankings: 78.86%; compare to the original Endless Ocean -- MC: 72, GR: 72.97%

Super Mario Galaxy 2 -- apparently this was still a great game in 2010, as its reception was basically identical to the first Mario Galaxy -- that is, they're two of the three best-reviewed games of all time, in case you haven't heard.

Wii Party -- Metacritic: 68, GameRankings: 70.44%; compare to Mario Party 8 -- MC: 62, GR: 63.04%

Kirby's Epic Yarn -- Metacritic: 86, GameRankings: 88.75%; the "difficulty level" argument is pretty weak in the freeze state and autosave generation of gaming.

Metroid: Other M -- I won't defend the game, but critics must have had some nice things to say about it, because it managed a 79 Metascore and a 78.55% on GR.

Both Wii Plays might be awful, but according to critics, they're equally awful.

Fortune Street -- another Mario Party knock-off that got better reviews than Mario Party 8! MC: 68, GR: 69,89%

Return to Dreamland -- MC: 77, GR: 80.36%; oh no, two completely different Kirby games a year apart.

Rhythm Heaven Fever -- MC: 85, GR: 84.42%; on the right side of Smooth Moves' 83 and 82.04%, respectively.

Mario Party 9 -- MC: 73, GR: 74.69%; another Mario Party...that is superior to 2007's Mario Party 8. According to GameRankings, 9 is the best Mario Party since 2000's Mario Party 2.

Xenoblade -- MC: 92, GR: 92.39%; I guess critics played more than a bit of this one, and didn't mind the cutscenes.

Your claim that "the Nintendo published games in the Wii's second half of it's life are inferior" is statistically incorrect. Making derogatory comments about most of said games won't fool anyone.

Here you go I will respond to you about all of them...

Punchout!! was a solid pseudo remake of a classic id you played it with the Wii Remote sideways.  The problem is that after Wii Sports most gamers (myself included) wanted an improvement on the boxing game.  We did not get this at all.

Wii Sports Resort is a really good game.  I will  not lie, but Nintendo teased people with what the Wii Motion Plus could do to give us basically no follow up games that use it.

Wii FIt Plus is pretty much the same thing as Wii FIt with a couple of new minigames.  Also do I have to explain to you that it's like Tae-Bo, Jane Fonda's Workout, or Richard Simmon's Sweating to the Oldies which is fine for what it is, but not exactly a game.

Endless Ocean 2 -  I personally don't like either of these games.  Swimming around to find fish is pretty boring.

Super Mario Galaxy 2 -  We JUST got SMG 1.  Give it a few years before we want another one for crying out loud!

Wii Party -  I played it and this was the true Mario Party 9.  Saying that it's better than Mario Party 8 is like saying that you prefer a kick in the stomache to a kick in the crotch.  Not exactly tough to improve on one of the worst Mario Partys ever.

KIrby's Epic Yarn - Don't give me your autosave argument.  You literally cannot die in this game.

You won't defend Metroid: Other M because it's a lousy game.

Wii Play is Wii Play.

Fortune Street = Mario Party 10  In other words, who cares?

Return to Dreamland.  You play the whole game and get al of the Energy Cells to unlock ... wait for it...  Nothing!  The exact samelevels but a little harder.

Rhythm Heaven I have not played but it does seem an awful lot like Wario Ware to me.

Mario Party 9 - Haven't there already have been 3 of these on this system?

Xenoblade is a good game but there are way too many cut scenes.  Worst of all, they sometimes show you doing super cool moves to finish off the bosses while you say to yourself "Why couldn't I do anything that cool in the game myself?"

I find it amusing that you use "statistical data" to back up your argument.  According to statistical data GTA IV is nearly perfect and we all know that isn't true.  Get an opinion for yourself and don't trust the collective of reviews.  What are you the Borg?
