The NPD is now useless.
What? It is! They don't post sales, only the order. The don't track online sales, nor do they track exclusives (hence the omission of Xenoblade). So, how are we supposed to know what's right and wrong unless another company (normally Nintendo) post their take on things?
However, if this is true, then it's pretty disastrous all round. Sony may be trying to keep to PS3 going for another 4 years or so, but, looking at these figures, that'll never happen...
