Rol; which is worse, having a rought transition that leads to poor initial sales of a new platform or effectively killing an existing platform prematurely by dropping almost all support and leaving it hanging? In my opinion, both are poor options and both Sony and Nintendo need to work on solutions.

Alright. But I don't believe you. I could explain it, but it basically boils down to the fact that the PS3 would have to outsell the Wii by 100k on average every week for over 6 years for it to overtake the Wii, something which is unfeasible in a couple years, especially when PS4 is released...

And that's almost impossible. But, stranger things have happened...
