In hindsight, I think Nintendo would probably opt not to center the DS2 around the 3D concept.

The thing about 3D is your eyes kinda need some time to get used to it initially, and I've noticed about half the people don't like it, while the other half like it immediately.

So it creates a really mixed first impression.

It's a neat feature, but it's not really a system selling type of feature and it likely made the system quite expensive to manufacture.

If they had to do it over again, my guess is the DS2 would be something more focused on having a strong online store/eShop from day 1 (full digital download titles + retail) rather than having the 3D effect.
