However, ANYONE can still save their money or use the layaway feature at Kmart (very small payments that you can cancel and get full refunded at anytime) and end up paying significantly less money for the same thing later this year. Especially when you include the real price drop that will come. It is NOT a good deal for anyone. It is simply more income for MS at a higher margin. If you don't have the $400 now to buy all that.... then don't buy it. Save your money for a few months until you can afford it. That would be the responsible and intelligent path forward. You'll likely save well over $100 and not be forcing yourself into a two year contractual payment. You never know what could happen in those two years. Maybe you lose your job and that $15 is simply not available to you. |
again your alternative doesn't make sense if you want to play the 360 now. If you call people who take this offer ignorant for not waiting than every single person who owns a current gen console is ignorant because all three consoles will get pricecuts in the future again and people stupidly "wasted more money" because they didn't want to wait. If you want to buy the console now this deal is good, because even assuming nothing else is including in the bundle you are basically getting a 5% yearly interest 2 year loan on such a small purchase. And I won't even consider that future money you give has less value due to inflation.
Now it is far more likely this bundle will actually include other features and will actually save you money over buying a 360 and paying for all these features seperately. In that case its a ridiculously good deal if the buyer actually wants all those features and only a good deal if the buyer just wants xbox live and an xbox with kinect.
