It's about the principle of the manner, not the platform/price/game it was done for. What if I bought Dead Space digitally from EA and they decided one day to just make all copies unusable? Everyone with a physical disc will be able to keep playing theirs, but mine will cease to exist.
I understand them pulling online support and stopping updates, but to literally destroy the game from the user's library so they can no longer play offline/single player or anything?
That's a really dick move.
