Ninty is lieing to people by acting like their new machine will be a hardcore gamer's dream.

When did they ever say this though amp? They're just saying they want to shift some focus from the casual to the core, they want to take back some of the red ocean market. If they believe they can do it, then why not?

In the mean time, rest assured, a reasonable amount of casual evergreen titles will be there at launch, all is well in the Nintendo camp.

What would you consider them shifting the focus from casual to core to mean?  It sounds like to me that they are saying, "Thanks for buying the Wii.  Now go back to playing on Facebook.  This system isn't for you."

That may be what it sounds like, and in that both you and Khan are right. But we know that isn't what's happening. His speech weighs in favor of core titles, but you should know by now they will cater to the casual market.

They did so with the 3DS, and we know the WiiU will be properly served at launch, it's almost certified fact. WiiU Me, Catch U, WiiU Sports. They'll all very likely be there for launch.
