When did they ever say this though amp? They're just saying they want to shift some focus from the casual to the core, they want to take back some of the red ocean market. If they believe they can do it, then why not?
In the mean time, rest assured, a reasonable amount of casual evergreen titles will be there at launch, all is well in the Nintendo camp.
