I'd like it if companies who have absolutely no interest in videogames to simply stay of of videogames. Especially something like this.
IF Nintendo were to make the same loss they made this year every single year from here, which they won't, they'd still have money in the bank up until 2056 (or something like that). THAT'S how successful the Wii/DS have been this gen. That's not even counting assests or selling off IP's, for example.
Nintendo are far from the SEGA situation, and they won't be heading out of the console market for at least another 2 gens after this current one for home consoles, and 3 more for portables IMO.
Simple answer, a touch off-topic: If people want to play Nintendo games, you need to buy a Nintendo console.
