The best one is the one with Fiora and Dunban in the village. Awesome. And Fiora is a great character. BELIEVE ME THIS TIME!

Although, it may take some experimentation, as she can be almost any character, depending on her frame. The speed frame is a bit...revealing, let's say, for a robot, but she's still good. Can also auto-topple all enemies with Final Cross, though it requires fiery tension. Now head on into  the unknown frontier!

Of course I believe you. I liked her from the beginning. Btw. I was just doing some the side missions from the Machina village I was playing with Wing Head Heropon and Dundun but to gain affinity between those characters, and I managed to gain the affinity between Dunban-Melia and Dunban-Rikki but couldn´t gain it between Rikki-Melia. I had the same issuse with Shulk-Rikki, Shulk-Melia, Reyn-Rikki and Reyn-Melia. Everybody seems to like Dunban but they don´t like each other. How can I change that?

Everyone builds affinity more between the main character. If you want to raise that affinity, then make that person the main character.

Also, some links are 'easier' than others, i.e. they go up quicker. They are as below:

Shulk- Fiora, Reyn, Melia

Reyn- Sharla

Sharla- Reyn, Melia

Dunban- Fiora

Riki- Melia

Melia- Riki, Shulk, Sharla

Fiora- Shulk, Dunban

 

I don't know if that's true, but having Riki and Melia in my party with Shulk as the main, Shulk went up much quicker with Melia than Shulk. She also cut in much more than Riki. Same with the other links. It might be random, but it occured far too often for a coincidence.

In addition, ever tried giving gifts?
