You're wrong. Pokemon has a huge hardcore following in tournaments and online metagame. It's an incredibly deep online strategy game amongst tourney gamers. Of course, the majority of its gamers are casual, just as 99% of Final Fantasy gamers are casual. Pokemon started as a game. The childrens cartoon split off of that, as did the cards and toys. Sorry, but you really don't know JRPGS Mummelmann. |
Well, I don't know Pokemon, at least. I always hated it. But I always think of games such as Xenogears, Final Fantasy and Hack when I think JRPG's with an hardcore audience. I'll admit fault in this, since I actually have that capacity. I see no reason to make a further ass of myself like most others would at this point.
