That would be desperate on Nintendo's part.  They should make new IPs and art games. 

Why would you give consumers what they want?  That makes no sense.

How would that be a desperate attempt? Releasing a game ever 2 years - 3 years isn't desperate. 

And obviously people (Rol) want a 2D Mario soooo.... 

They are desperate for Rol's approval.  They have read his threads.
