Making a Wii game with better-than-RS3 graphics would have been a great way to differentiate yourself from your competitors. And it's not like it's so hard and expensive to do it. Factor 5 may have had big budgets and stuff, but when a team of about 8 guys at Shin'en can produce some of the system's best graphics within the 40MB limitation of Wiiware, the only excuses left are developer laziness and developer incompetence.

Nintendo provided hardware that was capable of outdoing the Rogue Squadron games. If other developers faild to do so, it is their own fault.
