Well, specifications aren't really important, but if they are too low to make a marketable product, then there is a problem. I don't really think this will be the case; actually, this generation I think we might see a case where Microsoft is making their specifications too high to create a marketable product. Similar to what Sony has been doing over the past couple of generations; making a system so powerful that it can't be well priced, and losing tens of millions in unit sales as a result.
