Microsoft shipped almost 3 million more consoles last quarter but according to VGChartz is sold 2 million less?  I guess if it did outsell the PS3 last quarter it will never be known and will just be part of the "adjustments" for this quarter.

What are you talking about? They sold more during the holiday season. Sold around 700k less during the year, the reasons as to why have already been discussed.

I must have looked at an old VGChartz article with numbers that weren't adjusted.  Anyways regardless of the numbers here I'm willing to bet that the 360 will have LTD sales of 2+ million more compared to PS3 at the end of this year (based on numbers given out by both companies financial reports).
