PS3 360 gap below 2 million post adjustments

Which didn't turn out to be true, so why this year?

Microsoft shipped almost 3 million more consoles last quarter but according to VGChartz is sold 2 million less?  I guess if it did outsell the PS3 last quarter it will never be known and will just be part of the "adjustments" for this quarter.
