Yeah I'd have to agree with that too, suggested production cost was $160 for Vita. That leaves enough wiggle room for some profit. The author misinterpreted the interview he based his article on, or purposevly spun it. Here's the quote:
"aim to turn a profit withint three years in the body of the Vita sale."
By "body" he means in total. They predict to sell enough Vita's in 3 years to make more money than it cost to create it. Not too bad over a 5 to 7 year life cycle.

how can they make profit on something in less than 3 years if they've been selling it at a loss for 3 years....that makes NO sense at all.
