JoeTheBro said: 1/10 The 3DS 3D sucks. At least compared to other 3D screens. I'm a huge 3D fan so the fact it has any ghosting whatsoever means it can't score above a 4. Add in the super small sweet spot and the resolution being halved and we're at a 2. The final nail in the coffin is max 3D is lame. I should have a slider for a reason; don't use it as an one and off switch. I'd prefer to play on my 65' 3D display not because of it's size, but because the 3D effect is just so much better.
So tell me, how good is the 3D on your 65' TV when you take the glasses off?
He's entitled to his opinion, but two of his statements make me wonder how long he has spent with a 3DS and how many titles he used to test the 3D.
1. Resolution being halfed? In games like RE: Revelations where the 3D effect is negligible, the only reason I switch on the 3D is because the resolution actually seems to increase!
2. The only game of the 6 I have in which the 3D slider seems to be more of an on/off switch is RE: Revelations. In a game like Zelda, as I said earlier, the closer the screen is to your face, the lower the strength required from the 3DS screen.
