They could probably add a skill tree perk in which Barrier adds a % of damage to Nova, given that it increases the Biotic Barrier value. Other than that, I agree with the questionable efficiency of this combo, though as a Krogan Vanguard, I would rarely use Nova itself.

I mean that the Krogan doesn't have Nova at all.

What am I supposed to do to take down Pyroes?
