I have only played a few levels of Up Your Arsenal, but none of them were planetoids, so unless the rest of the game was heavily composed of planetoids, it too wasn't a game that is like SMG. As for the decline in sales, the excuse of installed base doesn't hold up universally, because Metal Gear Solid didn't decline from the PS2 to PS3. |
they weren't as small and compact like SMG but the general concept was similar
and neither did GoW or Killzone but those are games in far more popular genres than platformers on PlayStation which outside of Crash Bandicoot isn't that big
and another thing, I'm hoping non of you guys think Mario Galaxy is as popular as it is for anything other than the fact that it's a Mario game
