None of those links officially say anything. The GPU rumblings are still hearsay and IBM has said they're using the Watson's cpu, which is indeed the Power 7s. But then again Intel said they were putting Pentiums in the original Xbox and we know how that all ended up. Those were just the first two and if it they weren't from endgadget I would have dismissed them right away. What I will dismiss is Wikipedia and IGN. |
The Engadget links are official: It doesn't get much more official than confirmation from IBM themselves. And it's pretty common knowledge that the GPU is from the R700 series.
The fact that you choose to dismiss the Wikipedia and IGN links is irrelevant, as they just mirror what is stated in the other links anyway, which is reality.
