In recent months Sony has already shut down BigBig Studios and restructured Sony Cambridge, currently rumors are going around that Zipper Interactive is next. So can we still say that Sony games don't sell on Sony systems?
For comparison, the PS3 version Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 sold 2.01m units in its first week in Europe.

There's definately some kind of identity issues going on there. Call of Duty is set in the real world and with real weapons. Gran Turismo is set in the real world too with real cars. Plus both games are established franchises that a lot of people play and buy automatically. Seems like we just lack imagination or maybe the marketing was bad or reviews not good enough....I dunno.
