This is what I want to see next gen. Make them actually mean something, like for every 100 you unlock you get x amount of credit to buy downloadable games with. This may be unrealistic, but it would improve things dramatically.
I really don't think they encourage replay value right now, if they did then I wouldn't have gone nearly five months up to last week without picking up a single trophy.
