WiiU need some type of Achievement/Trophy system

Yes, Mario is Nintendo's Mascot and will be until they disband as a company. I'm just saying that Mario shouldn't set the standard for an achievement system. Maybe every game should have its own trophies rather than lumping Mario specific trophies.

But the point of an achievement system on the Wii U would be to appeal to the hardcore. As soon as you use Nintendo IP stuff as trophies, you contradict the intention.

Having the word Wii in the console again would be good enough excuse for those people.  Wii what a stupid name!  Xbox and Playstation are such manly and awesome names!
