How Sony can save the Vita

Fifa is pretty good. Uncharted is pretty good and Stardust is pretty good! However the rest of the games are pretty average at best from reviews. Of all the games that are out only Rayman appeals to me but not at it's current £30+ mark. Can get it for my consoles cheaper then that.

But what concerns me is the games coming out. Ports and cash ins. No real IP's that are unique to the console let alone exclusive. If this is how games will be then it will be in deep shit because why would anyone pay £250 to play a port when they can get the real game and the orgional console for that much?

I really hope Sony and third parties can make games purely for the vita that you can't find anywhere else.

But another way they could make it appealing is if they make a "PS2" section on the network with classic ps2 games that are CHEAP.

This I agree with. Nevermind about a ver wishful Dragon Quest port, what does PSV have planned for itself in the future? When the 3DS came out, Nintendo unveiled a boatload of games (Animal Crossing, Kid Icarus, Luigi's Mansion 2, Super Mario 3D Land, Mario Kart 7, Fire Emblem 3DS, Paper Mario, etc), plus some good third party support. The only big games Sony unveiled were Uncharted, Little Deviants (which isn't that good apparently), and ModNation Racers. What else does it have?

Sony needs to develop more games for their handhelds, one of the big reasons I never bought a PSP (probably will get one in the future, tired of borrowing one) is because of all the games I am interested, only two are Sony IP's (Gran Turismo and Reisistance)., and because after the last God of War, Sony ditched the PSP. Nintendo on the other hand, just announced a new major software title for the DS, despite the 3DS being over a year old now.
