Well to be fair in Sony case they are really finacially doomed. They need a lot of help to resurrect the company as a whole.

My arguement is, they've been doomed finacially (according to VGC posters anyway) since 2006 but yet they are still alive. The people here don't know shit but yet act like they do.

Ther VIta IS already in trouble and this is a perfectly reasonable thread where people are entitled to make suggestions. If all subjects are out of bounds to anyone other than thiose who can actually directly influence then you may aswell close the forum.

No, I'm not being defensive about Vita (I don't own one or plan to buy one anytime soon). I said the exact same thing about the 3DS when everyone called doom about it (I don't have a 3DS nor do I plan to get one most likely ever) why? Because I'm capable of looking beyond the here and now.
I don't know how to search in the VGC archieves if I'm 100% percent honest, I tried entering texts from thread titles that I know existed not so long ago into the "search box" but for whatever reason, they never appear so I'm probably doing something wrong. With that said, am I the only one that remembers threads that would pop up every now and then and some smart arse would reply with "final nail in the coffin" or something similar, I am positive I'm not making that up.
This isn't me being "defensive" just calling for common sense and calm.

The 3ds WAS also in trouble... if you knew a huge price cut was coming to save it then I am very impressed. The Vita doesnt have the luxury of a price cut coming any time soon unless Sony want to take a major haircut. Ninty could afford that, Sony cant.
Financial doom threads started in 2010... they have merit and Sony themselves have been taking MASSIVE measures to reduce costs and improve margins since 2010 so they obviously agree.

If that's the case then I apologise for suggesting otherwise, but I think it can be argued that it's not the end of days just yet because the people actually running the company might know a little more than the folks here, only thing you ever read here are sensationalistic posts that will have you believe that the world is ending.
