lol, yeah I learned my lesson after Zack and Wiki (which to clarify was not a bad game by any means, it just got really repetitive and boring for me after the first few hours playing it.) I avoided other hyped up Wii exclusives like Conduit, NMH and Madworld as well. I remember when the on-rails shooters House of the Dead: Overkill and Dead Space Extraction were being hailed as big exclusives for the Wii lol. Pretty much says all you need to know about the quality of the Wii's 3rd party library. |
Hey! I like HOD Overkill and DS Extraction, but i love on rail games so my praise dont mean shit really. But yeah I do agree those games didnt deserve any hype, they were just onrail games, had it been on another system it would have been like "whatever". I think thats the problem right there, the Wii lacks so much in AAA or even AA games that anything that is not a dancing/Ninty/ or exercise games get hyped to hell and back. HDs have the opposite problem, their are so many blockbusters that some get lost in the influx, i think they get too much games, i cant keep up. But i blame the media and some Wii owners for hyping up these games. Conduit?? Really?? That got e3 awards, Wii owners were just better of buying one of the Timesplitter games for GC
